Re: ACE Patch 3 released
This should be fixed from 1.02 onwards - can you do me a favour, can you open your ACE addons directory and check that there isn't a second eg. ace_sys_wound(2).pbo in there that has an earlier date than the other files. If there is delete it. Why I ask is that with the last update I found a second wound.pbo being created so when I loaded the latest version of the mod I was still getting bugs that should have been fixed. When I deleted the older wound.pbo it all worked fine.
Also can you please confirm you are using patch 4.
One final thing, with the fix the unconscious player will be able to move his head while being dragged but if he's dropped again he should lose head movement, when he's revived there should be no head bug when the player has finished the heal animation.
Thanks,

Re: ACE Patch 3 released
Norrin welcome to the forum mate, very glad to see you here sir!
Just checked my files for ACE just now and I have 1.04 all loaded. In the ACE addons I only have one file called:
ace_sys_wound 15.2MB file with a change date of today. No duplicate though.

Re: ACE Patch 3 released
Got the same as Blackdog. Only one file and running patch 4.
I'll get on the server tonight and start dragging people to confirm if it still affects people since the new patch.

Re: ACE Patch 3 released
@BD - Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum BD and for going to the trouble of checking your wounds.pbo.
You'll see me popping up from time to time as I'm trying to keep track of the major ACE bug threads to see what sort of issues people are encountering.
@AAbyss - Thanks mate - Please let me know if you run into any problems.Last edited by norrin; 02-17-2009 at 07:07 PM.

Re: ACE Patch 3 released
Everyone is yelling at seagulls for flying in soldier's faces... they haven't realized how valuable this behaviour can be, however!!!

Re: ACE Patch 3 released
Norrin,
Quick question for you mate. I enjoy using Real Time Editor to create my missions, I have found it really easy to place AI in buildings, etc prior to ACE. Now however, in the real-time editor if you take a character and lift them off the ground or try to take them anywhere near a building, they collapse and die?? Has this been reported anywhere else? It seems the characters are a little "softer" in ACE!
Whereas before I could shove them through a window or door and while they groaned a bit, they didnt die!
Also we have had a couple of players notice that their "ping" drops significantly when running ACE versus not running ACE? Agaain, not sure if you have heard this or not?
