I'm getting the TrackIR instead. I can barely make the IKEA furniture that my girl buys with a manual, much less do the electrical stuff shown in this thread. I'm impressed.

No need to get the whole package if you're not up to the electrical stuff. Do like I did and get TrackClip Pro(thingy with three IR-leds) and substitute the self made clip with it. Works really well.

Got my trackir 4 + Proclip last week and its awsome. Kinda have to get use to it in ARMA but in all my flightsim games its a blessing

Hi guys, it seems that Arma 2 will NOT support full Free-Track, unless BI makes a separate API for it. you can voice your opinion on it here:

Thanks for the heads up, it will be a shame if BI allows that. I mainly use freetrack with flight simulator and IL2, but this actions by natural point aren't new and they make me sick...

Don't worry. The encrypted Naturalpoint interface is also in use in Black Shark, and it was cracked within a week of the release. If they somehow manage to come up with a more effective version then that is indeed a shame.

:cof: not cracked, it was the freetrack interface with Black Shark that was patched :cof:
