I'm getting the TrackIR instead. I can barely make the IKEA furniture that my girl buys with a manual, much less do the electrical stuff shown in this thread. I'm impressed.

No need to get the whole package if you're not up to the electrical stuff. Do like I did and get TrackClip Pro(thingy with three IR-leds) and substitute the self made clip with it. Works really well.

Got my trackir 4 + Proclip last week and its awsome. Kinda have to get use to it in ARMA but in all my flightsim games its a blessing

Hi guys, it seems that Arma 2 will NOT support full Free-Track, unless BI makes a separate API for it. you can voice your opinion on it here:

Don't worry. The encrypted Naturalpoint interface is also in use in Black Shark, and it was cracked within a week of the release. If they somehow manage to come up with a more effective version then that is indeed a shame.
