Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!

With the release of ArmA 2 coming closer everyday, the TG ArmA administration is hard at work making sure our eventual migration from ArmA 1 to ArmA 2 goes smoothly. However, to do that, we must find out where the majority of our ever-growing community stands on ArmA 2.

Please take the extra few seconds to vote for one of the options at the top, and contribute to a smooth transition to ArmA 2. Also, if you know someone who plays on our server alot but doesn't check the forums as often, try and get them to come in and take the little time to vote. Your voice matters!

The reason for this vote is because we are trying to decide how we should handle our TG servers. Of course we don't yet know how hard ARMA2 is on a server, but last night we were tossing around the idea of having 1 ARMA2 server and 1 ARMA1 server.

What do you guys think?

I personally am going to wait a while, due to possible bugs and other things happening at the release of any new game.

I plan on getting ArmA II at day one or atleast within the first week.

But I will also keep playing ArmA I depending on how stable the game is.

Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!

Personally I pre-ordered months ago.

But there will be no ACE mod the first months of Arma 2. I just hope BI will be quicker at releasing mod-tools than they were with Arma 1.

One server for Arma and one for Arma 2 would be great

Edited top post for those that already replied. What do you think about the servers?

Yep, that just about sums up what my actions will be. Arma 2 has all the potential to be a fantastic game but only die hard optimist would underestimate the possible game crushing bugs that the first few months of release will bring.

I expect to be playing ArmA1 for awhile yet, but I will be picking up 2 pretty quickly after it's release.

I'm with Xmaster as well. Except I'll probably be playing Operation Flashpoint 2 for a little bit while Arma 2 patches up.

I agree with xmaster and you might want to update your poll to include a third option:

I agree with Xmaster and also think the 1 server for each game idea is the best possible answer.

Thumbs up Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!

Ill get it within the week it comes out, but more than likely knowing BI it will be glitchy as heck so ill keep playing ARMA1 as well...

Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!

1 server running ArmA I and one running ArmA II would be a neat idea. I really like this.
