Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!
I think the idea of having two servers, one for each game, is a great one.
Regardless, whatever the admins decide I'd like to thank them in advance for the effort they are and will put into the (at least partial) transition of TG to ArmA 2 - I know how full on it's going to be and no doubt there will be teething troubles, but I'm confident TG will come through more awesome than ever.

ARMA II will likely spur a return to the TG ARMA scene. I'll purchase ARMA II very soon after it's release with hopeful return to online action soon after.

Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!
I plan to buy ARMA2 (unless i hear VOIP is not in it or it's totally useless in some other way).
How popular it will be (and what we will end up playing in the long run) all depends on ARMA2 doesn't it?

1 server for each game is nice to me.
Got my copy of ArmA II at UK pré-sale, will be sent to me on release, 18 june

Agree with the majority - 1 & 1
I have a new system built around the i7 (3.6Ghz) chip. So will only be installing my pre-ordered copy of ArmA II. Will be playing online shortly after (after tweaking my VAC file, and Touchbuddy profile to comply with any subtle changes).

Re: Help out TG ArmA 2! Vote!
Would suggest the 1+1 for a number of reasons.
1) Some may prefer ArmA1 (some of us still like DoD 1.6 over DoD:S) though IAH after seeing watching some videos I can't see why.)
2) Some may not be able to run ArmA 2 right away. (ie: I'm not building a new rig until the fall. Summers are too short)
3) Some may sit on the fence to see how ArmA 2 evolves.
The 2 servers wouldn't compete against each other but would compliment each other and TG by offering a place to play to a wider audience. You may even find your ArmA1 server increasing in popularity as so many single server groups switch over to ArmA2 leaving those playing ArmA1 scrambling for a place to play.
Also offers some stability in that those regulars that don't/can't run ArmA2 still can play on a TG server.I'm not in my second childhood , I simply never outgrew my first
I'm living proof that only the good die young :D
