UPDATE...I have got MASSIVE issues with this patch, it is suddenly not recognizing my Nvidia 8700GT card my warefare buildings have gone missing...not a happy camper right now!
OK if you use the 1.16 uninstaller...it completely deletes your entire Beta folder including 1.15.... Arhrghrghgrg really REALLY hacked off right now!Last edited by Blackdog1; 04-24-2009 at 03:30 PM. Reason: MAJOR FUBAR!

no, worked fine for me, but all the servers are still using 1.15 so i can't have fun with it

Blackdog it installed just fine here and I have a huge fps boost. Try to update your nvidia drivers.

Server 1 is still 1.15, as people were on it and I didn't want to kick them, but we will get5 it updated ASAP. Server 2 and the Event are updated.

For those that cannot run ArmA because of Kegetys' ArmAlib editor, place a "-noarmalib" string in your ArmA Shortcuts' Target line in Properties.
So it should look something like this.
"C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\beta\arma.exe" -nosplash -noarmalib -mod=beta;@ACE;@ACE-Islands
I'm sure an updated 3d editor will become available fairly soon.___________________________________

I had the shadow glitch in 1.15... So I turn the shadows off. Runs better for me.

If the problem doesn't go away with updated drivers etc, it may be an idea to go to the BI troubleshoot forum and list the problem + all details you can possibly think is relevant. Sometimes a developer steps in and the problem may even be fixed.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! After an afternoon of complete ArmA reinstallation....my machine is finally running again the way it was and fully up to date.... I still could not use the TG download as it threw up a corrupt file error each time I tried it.
Mucho strange, but hoping the game is a little faster now wth a fresh install!BlackDog1
