I thought I'd throw in a tip, but it's specific to the logitech G5 mouse and the FOV keybindings.

You have two extra available buttons with the G5 by clicking the mouse wheel left/right.

I bound these as follows (where MWL = mouse wheel left):

Set the MWR - NumPad 7(look left 45 degrees) and
    MWL - NumPad 8(look left 45 degrees)

with the Logitech software. Then in ArmA, change the keybindings for NumPad 4(look left 90 degrees) and NumPad 6(look right 90 degrees) to:

    L. Alt(FreeLook) + NumPad 7 = FOV(look left 90 degrees which was formerly NumPad 4)
    L. Alt(FreeLook) + NumPad 9 = FOV(Look right 90 degrees..which was formerly NumPad 6)

Using the mouse wheel in this manner, you can still check your 3 and 9 in 45 and 90 degree increments while looking through your ironsights. I think it's a good alternative when you don't have trackIR.

I guess i'm strange. I use the arrow keys to move. everything is assigned to the numpad and the block of keys above. ( page up, end, del, ect... ) I have TrackIR so i dont use any of the view keys.

Ive always played that way though. It sucks that i do because of my keyboard. I have a logitec G15, so all those neat little keys are kinda useless on that side of the keyboard. lol I like my setup this way though because everything is right there.

On the "reveal taget" RMB topic.
If you spot something it shows red on the map be it ground troops [a red triangle] or assessets [a red armour looking icon.]

I have noticed that as it fades you can reveal what was there by hovering the mouse over its last know position. It seems that anything you have spotted even if it moves and fades down the hovering mouse will locate it.

Thanks Jamerica, I will have to give that a try I have changed my select menu item button from pushing in on the middle mouse button to the thumb button on my G5. It saves me going to scroll to a menu item and as I go to press down I scroll one item farther. It saves a bit of frustration and allows me to quickly acess the eject/get out easier.

Very good, hold breath still works, etc

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.
