Discussion: ArmA - Archives / Armed Assault 1 - General Discussion - A new server for ArmA - As some of you well know by now, we have been feverishly working on setting
As some of you well know by now, we have been feverishly working on setting a new server up to better suit your gaming needs. This new server is a much more robust box that has better hardware capable of supporting ArmA and the way it utilizes resources. The newer box has been tested and shown that there is an increase in gaming performance to most by allowing for better FPS, hence a better gaming experience.
By Friday of this week, we will completely migrate over to the new box, which has a new IP address. The new address will be 64.34.178.169. The passwords and rules will be in effect for the new server, so there should not be any difference is that aspect.
Now these types of upgrades are only capable thanks to the help of our supporting member crowd. Those individuals that contribute to this community are the ones directly responsible for the upgrade. I encourage all of you to consider helping out, if you do not already. As a reward for those that do contribute, we will be introducing a Supporting Member night where only they will have access to the CoOp server for game time. During these game times, there will be exclusive content and mission sets that are not played at any other time of the week.
Make sure you all change your game filter and ArmA Watcher to reflect the new address below.
