Re: Operation Unicorn OP2 Sept 7

Funniest night's ArmA playing I have had in months... I had tears of laughter rolling down my face I was laughing so hard....

Was great fun... the mission has actually turned out pretty nicely.. ( I have attached the proper briefing now! doh!)

It's a challenge without being to big of a challenge ....

There were so many classic on liners..here was just an example....

"he ran across there behind the hooker..."
"Which hooker, there are several hookers"...
"The one with the white boots"....
"Ahhh that one...with te gogo boots on..."

Brilliant....

I NEED A MEDIC HERE!

Best line of my evening:

"Well, we will go with the lesser of two evils."
"But the lesser of these evils is a string of tanks!"
"Buck up, we'll scream at them."

After I get into a fishing boat that is clearly shot up by a SU-34. I say

" Everybody come in this boat, it may look damaged but it is perfectly safe. "

*secondary explosion*

Boat capsizes.

Dont drive in a civvie fishing boat, you will spend all night listening to skin talk about mustaches!

I had a lot of fun, and felt that I kept up, despite my second day playing the game!

Thank you for putting on such a great mission. I would like to add that dynamic missions like this one, with a full selection of gear(not including rockets of course ), happen to be my favorite.

I perfected the art of driving the fishing boat while under enemy fire. Just ask Blackdog when we tested the mission on our 22nd training nights.

I don't know why but they thought it be best to jump out when grenades kept impacting the ship.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

Re: Operation Unicorn OP2 Sept 7

Chief ... you are always in this mission in "spirit" even if your not playing...just check the mission intro credits in the Herc!

The mission is now on the public servers and so will Operation Unicorn OP1 when I have tweaked it a bit...

I intend to 5 misions in the "Operation Unicorn" series...

it was great to have you onboard for this one Turkish...you got to see a classic TG mission there...lots of immersion, (the Rockets kept kicking our ass!) the unknown of the tanks and the free weapons selection is just a personal favourite of mine as I like players to have some freedom in the weapon they use. After a while I find having to use the M16 with just 6 clips of ammo and a smoke grenade gets a little dull.

Anyway...was a great time... I have seriously not laughed so hard in ages when we were all waiting to be revived rolling around on the beach all shouting at each other with the "revive" auto call outs....was truly hilarious...

"bastards".....

While I know we have TG SOP's on language, I can honestly say that in this context, the audio was pure hilarity!

Re: Operation Unicorn OP2 Sept 7

Looking forward to many more Op. Unicornz to come!

I have to say, the free weapon selection was one of my favorite parts. I don't like the game to limit me on my choice of weapons and kit. I like a lot of magazines for example. I don't really care for grenades.

That's because you are weak armed, like a girl.
