Just to keep everyone updated...my Sahrani Electrical Grids Script is in beta and will be tested extensively this weekend. If it works properly, look for it in the next version of Evo Blue TG and maybe some other surprises. I will also post a demo mission this weekend that you can DL to your MP missions folder and experiment with at your own leisure.

Every street lamp on the entire island is controlled with this script from one of the seven power substations scattered across the Island. When fully released...it is only programmed to turn lights off if the substation is extensively damaged or destroyed but I give examples of how mission makers can utilize the script to "cut power stealthily" if they so desire as well as other things you can do with it.

I just wanted to keep everyone updated. My script works perfectly, but thanks to the help of Ivan the Bad and Sam Hoy testing one night in a true multi-player environment, we determined that the script is not fully MP/JIP compatible (yet!). If there is any chance that one player sees the lights off and another lights on I can't consider releasing it...so, it's back to the code again. The good news is that this is totally solvable...it'll just require some code changes and adding in updates for new joined players so they see what everyone else on the server sees. I didn't take this approach initially because with multi-player ArmA you often don't know what works or doesn't until you try it. I hope to have major progress by next week.
