I too have had a lot of fun with this. The Anti-air cover adds an element for a lot more planning. This was practiced a lot more before the unranked version came online as there were no engineers and Towing capabilities so a downed chopper was a lost chopper in most cases.

Domination has anti-air too except you don't get a huge red circle showing where you're in AA territory.

Just a thought as I don't have enough time in with Arma still, but perhaps leave the Evo serve running some form of Evo as it is a game that allows for a more casual, join in on the fly experince. Have the current co-op server run Domination during the week and on weekends or only one day even run it as co-op? Plus if we manage to get a consistant date and time for playing co-op events the Domination server could switch to co-op missions for that time period. Personally I enjoy the co-op events over either Domination or Evo but can't always commit to the date and time.

I don't know how much of a problem this would create. As long as people are aware of what the schedule is they shouldn't be surprised by it.

You can also join Domination on the fly. The trouble with taking over the coop server is that nobody else can jump on it to play the other missions we have there. I like the coop games too but I find that numbers is usually the problem. Something like Evo or Dom is persistent so you can just jump on and get going and other people can just turn up - probably the reason it's always populated. Coop games are not an option if your the first few on the server because they usually require bigger numbers to play them, and they run for a much shorter time.

Going off topic now: I think that the coop server might do better if we had some info of new mission put up, and it would help a lot if people could name their missions to a standard. Having just a mission name means that you have to load them up to see how many players it supports - only 4 of you and you get a 20 player mission, back to the hassled menu system that never got updated to choose another.

I have never went on the Domination server, I have looked all over the fourms for a password, and I have not had any luck, Reason I play Evo. is I have the password.


If someone could point me in a direct. to where the password is I would be happy to come on there and play.

Domination does not have a dedicated server (that is what the meat of the thread is about). It is one of the 112 different coop missions we have loaded on or coop server. The password for the coop server can be found in this thread:

Yeah, do u have the OLD password. THe old password is the one for the coop server.
Put ANNOUNCEMENT - Armed Assault Server Information in the forum search and it should come up with a post by Apophis, click on the post and at the bottom of the page there is an attachment with the password. Click on it and save the password. Hope ot see u on the coop server.

ya that was the password I alwas had, for some reason It did not work last night, or I was not doing something right it worked today when I went to join.
