Re: A note about sunday coop events...

Well lets see... a similar discussion in another thread was locked with admins saying it's not up for debate... once again, I think the TG ArmA admin staff have caused more problems with this game then helped... Not all of them but a few just don't like anyone disagreeing or discussing problems with our server and gameplay.

I respectfully call for a admin review for our TG ArmA server, some are out of touch, and unwilling to address problems.

disgusting, and the admin that locked the other thread that was respectfully discussing the problems with the ArmA coop play should be removed.

Re: A note about sunday coop events...

The problem is, when there was no sign up policy and we used those who voluntarily signed up as a gauge of players we weren't getting much of a response so we didn't know if there was a lack of interest or not. I personally think the time needs to change or we need to work more during the week. However, no one is willing to commit or say one time is better than another.

So we change the policy to get a little better idea of who wants to show up on Sunday and suddenly people crawl out of the woodwork to debate the idea. I don't have a problem with healthy debate, but when the only suggestion is to go back to the previous way when that method was not working nor has the new method been given any kind of testing, I find it a little much. I also believe the other thread was closed to avoid "beating a dead horse" and more personal attacks. It's just a new idea, the other way wasn't working so something new is being tried.

Sunday at that time was chosen to include our entire community so that those who play in GMT+ times can play with their North American brethren. It amazes me that people refuse to play on the COOP server unless there is an official event, but then complain when the admins try to get a head count for that event. It also amazes me that the same practice can be in place for another community but for some reason is viewed with horror here. I understand that TG is an open community, but when individuals only point out faults, provide vague solutions, and announce they refuse to assist in making those changes I don't think that helps the community.

I will ask Shiner to post the poll results again if possible that many of the community participated and maybe it will shed some light on the desires of the quieter members of the community.

Re: A note about sunday coop events...

If you have something you would like say, criticize, comment on, question, concerning an admin decision...by all means...send any one of us a PM. But this matter is not open for debate in this thread either. If the tone can turn from "TG sucks! Do it my way!" to a tone of actual respect, then maybe it can be reopened...but for now...
