Re: Fresh blood

You know, I think I remember hearing about that somewhere too. Their leader even published a print copy of his guide to ArmA. It might be better to reinvent the wheel, though.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow your roll, buddy. There's a massive difference between dry humor and cynicism.

Try re-reading the post again with that in mind. It may come across completely differently.

I wish I could get in contact with the leader of that group again, I bet he'd be happy to explain it all to TG...

Our admins do the best job they know how and I personally am offended at your comments.

I was wrong to define what your intent was. Only you can do that. I'm sorry I made that assumption.

Offended was the wrong word...put off is better, maybe just bothered would've sufficed.

At any rate, whether cynical or humorous, I still see your comment as a passive/aggressive statement on how TG has managed or is managing ARMA. I'm not an admin nor have I been in the loop on any discourse you have privately shared with any of the admins or the GO. Given that, I'll still hold the line on the appropriateness of your very public comment. Maybe I'm expecting too much or just too sensitive.

It's not passive-aggressive, it's humor. I talk to "your leadership" frequently, and I've posted the TS/VON stuff publicly before. It's not meant to be a drama-creating post - Ednos took the proper meaning from it and posted suitably tongue-in-cheek.

In any case, it's over now. You can be as sensitive as you want, whatever works for you, but I'm not going to clutter up the thread anymore with a continuing dissection of intent or meaning to a post that was a light jabby joke at worst.

Re: Fresh blood

Yeah really need to get something going last night was pretty bad. Did a joint ops mission and the blufor team was a mess only a few people were using VON and there were several intentional team kills. A couple of guys picked up sniper rifles and were trying to kill the crew of a UH60 that was orbiting the town looking for targets.

Hey man,

If you see stuff like this going on, do your best to get as much info as you can about the players causing the problems. ArmA ID numbers and user names along with detailed reports on the problems they're causing go a long way in helping us deal with problem players on the server. I know it seems like more work than it's worth, but we depend on the community to take action and report problems when there aren't admins around.

All reports should be made to this forum:

http://www.tacticalgamer.com/armed-a...contact-admin/

Also, my xfire is listed in my profile here. If you have xfire, you can message me any time if there's problems...I'm not always at the keyboard...but it's usually running.
