Arma Videos

Just some videos I made I only have two uploaded as I'm still converting some of the others which include some of the Sunday night events.

First one is a checkpoint ambush I was using FDF Sound Mod at the time as well as Jonny's Marines and I also was using the content from Queen's Gambit. Placed all the objects which took awhile cause of a lack of appropriate objects in Arma and theAI is unable to drive through it.

Yeah a 4th truck is supposed to come but the cobra that shows up blasts it before it can get to the checkpoint.

Second is me messing around with choppers I shoot out the tail rotor on a Mi-17 Note how the AI is able to recover several times. Once again using the FDF Sound Mod

Well thats it I'll post the others when I get them. Thanks go to Bamboo for posting his videos otherwise I would still be looking for a site to upload mine on (still looking sort of) and to the people that made the addons of course.

Re: Arma Videos

Well mostly cause I wanted to see what was going on in the videos. and the tail rotor one I tried using the sights but I kept missing and the Mi-17 kept flying away then. The other videos I'm uploading today I use them alot more.

Re: Arma Videos

Cobra, try this site too. I just found it after I found the site you are using above
http://www.vimeo.com/

Check out this video for instance.

It is so good I can almost watch it full screen on my 22" LCD. Try doing that with a youtube video and see how far you get.
I think the video I posted the other day didn't do that because my rez was actually 1080p, and I just noticed this
"To create: upload a 1280x720 video and it will automatically convert to High Definition. Read the FAQ at vimeo.com/help/hd "

EDIT:
So I was just going though and looking at some of their HD movies (there are 60+ pages worth) and WOW, it is now one of my new fav. sites.
Here are just a few from the 1st 10 pages that caught my eye. Click on a few to see what I mean (especially the 1st one!!)

HD v.s. SD

Tibetan Timescapes - HD

EAA B-17 at Wright Brothers Airport - Part 3

5x5's Are Just Cool

-SPEED OF LIGHT- ..... ESSAI N°3.5

The Smoke that Thunders from 'Flying the Falls'

San Francisco

Teahupoo Tahiti Surf - HD

Dandelion open and close

The Final Battle AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN DO JUST AS AN AMATURE NOW

Shuttle Launch: Cape Canaveral, March 11
That last one gave me chills!

Well, I may be particaly over my feelings of loss over Stage6

Re: Arma Videos

Ok I uploaded the TG videos on the new site. they are probably gonna be blurry still cause of how I compressed them. I used MPEG 4 V2 with virtualdub so not sure if they are gonna look any better. Enjoy

Re: Arma Videos

@JRCOBRA
What are your sound settings in FRAPS? I can't get it to record ingame sounds, just what we are saying on comms.

Re: Arma Videos

I just have it set to record sound, detect best sound input and the sound input is set to what you hear and the sound device is set to the card I'm using.
