Re: Kill Indicators - Remove or keep?

On people saying that removing crosshairs and stuff would scare away new players....as someone planning to get the game, I agree. I mean, it's gonna be hard enough learning all the SOPs and basic controls without having to deal with not even having a basic crosshair .

Re: Kill Indicators - Remove or keep?

If you tried to use the crosshairs, you'll see they're nearly worthless anyway.

Basically they just indicate the center of the screen. If you start shooting w/o aiming, your bullets aren't going to hit the crosshairs. They're going all over the place. Thus, it's irrelevant for anything practical.

Yh...also, this is obviously much less of a run-and-gunner than BF2142, so you won't be running around in free-aim much, right.

Re: Kill Indicators - Remove or keep?

Just to point something out here..... The death messages have been turned off for a couple days now!! Some detectives you all make.

As for the cross hairs, they serve no advantage/disadvantage as far as aiming, IMO. Where they are valuable is telling you when you are injured and out of breath. There is no way of seeing you are injured and since you can't literally feel it, this is the only indicator sometimes.

So that being said, the cross hair debate can end, they will stay on....
