digital download

I downloaded arma a long time ago via directdownload.com just to figure out i couldn't run it, chocked it up as a dumb move on my part. Anyway later and now I could run it however there activation code i got from dd doesn't even look close to the cdkey needed to install game. thoughts?

Does it ask for a cd key? I've never had anything I've downloaded from Direct2Drive ask me for a key only a internet connection and the activation key but never a cd key. Should be fine I would think.
