By the way, I just help one of the other forum members build a completely new computer that would rock ARMA. Total came to about $1,000 if anyone else is ready to upgrade and get ready for ARMA2

, I can send you a link to the wish list. It would actually be faster than my computer, and my rig cost $1,700 or so last OCT/Nov when I built it.

I think my computer will be ArmA2-ready as soon as I upgrade my GPU. I built my rig juuuust after the introduction of Core 2 Duo, so I'm riding in an E6600 @ 3.2ghz, but my GPU is an aging X1900XTX. Once I pop a 4870 in there, I should be good to go.

My PC sucks ass. I can't afford an upgrade at all, let alone a RAM upgrade.

Really ryan? You should be able to come very close if not. Post in the ARMA tech help if you want some help trying to figure out why. Your rig is about equal to mine as far as ARMA is concerned, and I have everything at max except AA (never really messed with it, as don't notice any jaggies anyway)
