As far as activations go...I thought I read somewhere that if you need another activation it's possible to email Morphicon and they would set that up....

I believe that was in the email you recieve after you buy the downloadable version...don't quote me on that though..

My understanding is that by design the download version of ArmA only allows 3 activations due to risk of "sharing", but that they are fully prepared to reactivate the game if they are contacted and you explain why you used your 3. So I would suggest you Email them, explain, tell them the IP's the 3 activations are from then they should hopefully sort you out.

Excellent. I'll shoot them off an e-mail today and explain my flip-flopping between my two IP addresses. Based on what I've seen, logic would dictate that I will need to purchase another key if I want to play the game AND host the server until such point as the dedicated server binary is released.

No kidding! I already sent out my e-mail to rectify my activation issue, so hopefully by the time I get home from work I'll be able to re-activate at home and spend me weekend playing ArmA!

You're probably sick of hearing this, but thanks again Placebo. And pass that on to everyone over at BI Studios for getting both this game out the door but the dedicated server done as well. These events have created a whole bunch of happy Tactical Gamers.

Hahaha no I'm not sick of hearing it, especially after some of the negative comments we've received, yes of course some are valid complaints, but many aren't and some are just downright nasty, but well it's the business, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs and all that

Well, BI did everything some of the more vocal individuals demanded, you would all be working for free, producing games in less than a month that were 100% bug free, always provide concrete release dates with zero slippage, provide free expansion packs for the next 50 years, and most likely solve the global warming problem by next week.

One of the things you'll find with the Tactical Gamer community is we don't tolerate a lot of that nasty behavior and general disrespect towards others. If folks can't behave in a mature and respectful manner, we tend to get rid of them VERY quickly.
