I already have the funds allocated. It will only take 24-48 hours tops to have the server provisioned and ready for the dedicated server to be installed. I might actually provision the server this weekend in preparation for the dedicated server release.

I've been discussing our options with Asch regarding performing an early launch of the game here at TG based off the German version until the US version becomes available. I'm not sure if those purchasing the German version will be able to upgrade/patch to the US version upon release, so I don't want to encourage anyone to buy the German version because they may be stuck with a version we don't support once the US version is released.

The short answer is this:

Yes, we will have a server VERY soon but it will most likely be the German version patched to English.

Hmm, is this a big deal? Can't each version of the game play together or can they only connect to others running the same version? For instance, if I have the German version, can I not play with those that have the CR version or the US version? If that's the case, I'll definitely hold off until a US release. As always, thanks for the information.

Hey all,

Mag might know for sure..but I'm pretty sure that I have joined at least one or two servers the last couple of nights running the CR version...I might be wrong on this, but I thought I did.

I'll check on that tonight when I get home from work, unless someone else lets us know beforehand..

That's a question I can't answer. Maybe Placebo can chime in on that one. I would assume that the versions will eventually be compatible, but I certainly don't want to make any warranties or representations of such and then find out those who purchased the German version need to spend another $50 on the US version.

From a TG perspective, I want to make sure we're providing the services for our members. I also want to get on board as quickly as possible so we're well established when the US version comes out.

Having fun training my transport heli "skills" , its alrdy allot better then day one ( i was kind of treecutting then ;D) , but i still need allot of training.
Those choppers are damm hard to control lol.

I dont want to crash a black hawk loaded with |TG| members in it , so i have to go train again to provide save transport in the future ;DDD

Yes all versions will be compatible with each other, same as right now German 1.01 and Czech 1.01 are compatible then US 1.3 (for example) and EU 1.3 will be compatible.
