Ok guys, I'm interested now that we know the German version will be compatible. All that's keeping me from buying now is major concern on whether my system will be able to handle it.

P4 2.66Ghz
1GB RAM
128MB Radeon 9600XT

Yeah, I know the video card is the major concern. Should I just wait until tax return time when I can get a better video card? Will I be sorely dissappointed with either look or performance trying to run it on the above? I don't want to have the only way I can run it be 800X600 with it not looking good even then.

I figured as much. I guess I'll wait until my tax refund, which should be around the same time they are saying the U.S. version will be out. I think I should be able to pick up a decent AGP card that will make it playable for ~$150.00.

Bought the German and patched it. It is not completely flawless but it does not take any effort to understand the few audio cuts that are still in German.

DA: I have an AGP eVGA 6800 card I can part with for really cheap. You can unlock the pipelines on it and make it basically a 6800 Ultra. PM Me...
