Does the game run OK when patched to 1.02 before any language patches have been installed?

It won't patch to 1.02. I can only play 1.01 so far with and w/out the language patch...which is what I had been doing.

it's that kind of error. I got this from them yesterday but it still doesn't work.

Dear Sir / Madam,

A new 1.02 patch that is compatible with the download and retail versions of Armed Assault has now been released. The 1.02 Patch will do a checksum on game’s exe to determine which version (online or dvd) you have and will install the patch appropriately. If the checksum test doesn’t work you will be prompted to choose the version of the game you possess, online or dvd. Once selected the patch should be installed without any problems.
However, if you do receive an error message during installation you should simply click on ignore (several times) and the patch should be installed afterwards.

^^^^^^^^^that's BS cause it doesn't work even with ignore.

Sorry to hear you are having problems getting your version to 1.02 Jusb.

I only have the Cz version, not the German one.

With a bit of luck someone who ownes, and has updated the German version to 1.02 successfully may be able to provide the patch they used to get their game updated?

I recommend doing what I did, tosave time and the head ach....just uninstall and reinstall onl;y took me about 20 minutes to uninstal 1.01 and then to install 1.02 and also the .9 lang patch.. oh yeah and mine is the Germ version

Just in case you are running Win64 Jusb. There is a known problem with the German Patch and Win64.

Rightclick the file, then Run as... select the administrator account in the bottom and type in the correct password. Then hit Enter

You can also run a virtual OS or install the game on your laptop/other system if available and then pull the files over.

Did it for the 3rd time. Finally worked. Took all day but looks like i'm good to go...
