Hello Tactical Gamers! I'll fill in the required info before continuing.

2. Any group affiliation? Currently the ArmAInteractive tourny and Red-Sector Inc.
3. Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint? Very little OFP. Been playing ArmA since the day it was um... released in the wild.
4. Are you active in any other games at TG? None currently.
5. Any interest in mission editing/scripting? I can put together basic missions. But don't dream of becoming a scripter.
6. Any real world Military experience? None. Although my Tivo seems stuck on the military channel.


Ok, so Ive browsed these forums for some months now. But just recently registered. Lots of good info over here, good people and im sure good gamers. Im mainly active over at armedassault.eu, armainteractive.com and red-sector.com. My gaming history mainly involves a few thousand hours of the original Ghost Recon, GRAW, a fair amount of BF2, Americas Army, racing and flying sims, a few sports titles and currently 100% ArmA. Im a tactical gamer thru and thru. Im VERY rarely found on any public servers. As they make me want to hurl my pc out the window, never to game again. I prefer an organized closed session with people on TS. My involvement with ArmA has me flying rotary wing about 90% of the time currently. Im head of the aviation division for the US side over at the ArmA Interactive tourny. I take it very serious and all my pilots know i expect a high level of flight and tactical skills in the aircraft during missions. I am mainly a TvT guy, although I can be dragged into coop on a rare occation. hehe

I look forward to participating in this community a bit more now.

First off let me say that I'm from South Africa, that means that I will be the one non local with a ping of 350-600 clogging up your server, If you allow me to play on server thats great but if you kick me no big problem. I like playing ArmA and IL2 for it's scale and level of realism. No problems playing games in a mature and tactical way: Following orders,sticking to your squad that kind of thing and like it better that way. Reading up on rules and must reads on TG and will hopefully be playing soon.

My name is Scott, and I have been playing on you server for approximately 3 weeks now. I was introduced to the game of ArmA and your gaming community by Curt who also plays quite a bit on your server. In the recent past I was the leader in a clan for BF2 and some of its mods. I tried to get some intricate tactics and strats down for a more cohesive match play, but it did not work out; call it lack of interest. Curt knows the type of gaming that I strive for and the servers that I like to play on and well, here I am. I am a professional Firefighter (Captain) for 20 years in a very busy city. I was recently recruited into the Department of Homeland Security’s Port Division because of my experience in certain fields. I have extensive real world training in a vast array of subjects pertaining to Our Homeland’s security: Hazardous Materials, counter terrorism, intelligence, advanced weapons training, bomb training, and much more. I have completed some of my weapons and intelligence training at Quantico with the Marines and the FBI. I love the Marines and I love most of their ideals. I also am part of USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) teams. “Anywhere, Anytime, Any job”, words we live by. We respond nationwide to natural as well as manmade disasters to assist where needed. As I do on many of the forums that I am registered with, I will post some Homeland Security information as I receive it if you would like. I will not post anything that is a danger to the people in the field still investigating a lead, but I will post other info that might be of some help to you and your families. Civilians, like most of you, is the primary reason that most of the recent terrorist events have been thwarted both home and abroad. Most of the leads and info were from your calls to the local authorities on something out of the ordinary or something you may have heard. Remember: awareness, diligence, and good common sense are some of the thing that may save your life as well as many others and prevent another attack on our soil. Complacency kills! I will never forget what they did to us and my brothers and sisters! Never forget!
I tend to lead a very busy, stressful lifestyle with what feels like never ending training and all this while trying to raise a family. My gaming time is very valuable to me and I take it very seriously because it is my way to wind down so to speak. Well, that is who I am and I will see you on the server soon, nice to meet you all.

Hello all, I know I have played with a few of you on the TG PRMM server or at ShackTactical but I am starting to get more interested in Arma as the game matures and I tweak my new machine. Here are the basics on my background:
