Hello, I'm Satmax.

Currently, I do not belong to any ArmA Clans or groups. However I do belong to the WWIIOL squad, the 31st Wrecking Crew, which I've happily been a part of for the last 6 years.

I didn't play OFP much when I bought it when it was released. The controls were too "wierd" for me. I bought ArmA the other day and it grew on me, I love it. I'm not a super trooper, but I'm getting the gist of the game and having a blast.

I am not currently active in other games at TG. I came here mainly interested in learning organized tactics for use in ArmA.

Real world experience? I'm Air Force, and a aircraft mechanic at that. If the game eventually turns to needing to turn a virtual wrench to fix your Cobras, give me a holler. As far as weapons go, I am a crack shot at putting holes in paper that's about 20 yards in front of my face with a M16A2.

Had ArmA for a while, didn't play it much and uninstalled it to make room for other games. Just reinstalled it and getting into it. I've played PR for a long time but it's stale. I also play Falcon 4 in an organized vFW so organized ArmA would be similar. Definitely going to get on the server this weekend.

Long Bow

Well I guess I should make one of these posts. I have played BF2 project reality for the last year or more, usually on the TG server (password nights included). I have lurked on these forums for some time as well but never posted. In game name is Long Bow or some slight variation on that (xLong_Bowx)

I finally got around to buying ArmA and now I'm quickly becoming hooked on it. I love playing PR but I'm now starting to find ArmA more to my liking. I never played OFP and I have no mapping/scripting skills.

No real world military experince though I'm a casual military buff (read books, watch documentaries etc. from time to time). I do have real world firearms experince.

Just got ArmA today. Been a part of the CS:S operation for over a year and a half. I like to think im good at that. I have heard nothing but good news about this game everywhere, and the same goes for the TG server for those of you traitors that some play CS:S and ArmA back and forth.. Hope to see you guys around. Ill try not to suck too bad.

Hello, everyone!

I'm... Inkompetent, and has always been.

Some of you might recognize me from SimHQ, which is the closest I've had to a membership in any ArmA group.

I've played ArmA since the 505 release, and just recently I've started coding for it too, writing some small addons and skin configs, fitting me perfectly since I'm currently studying to become a game programmer.

I've got no real life experience from the military, but I try to make up for that by sheer curiosity and militaryholism!

I hope you like fresh meat cause im st8 out of the box Im a FPS player since Doom (like most of you im sure) , i like arcade style FPS like Quake/Unreal but i use to love playing Rainbow six in LAN as we where almost "role playing" the missions , which was pretty fun. Then came BF Vietnam , Swat4 , and more recently BF2 (about what, 2 years ago?) I begin to be more involve with TG (BF2 PR forum) and i am looking forward to do the same thing for Arma.

Since im pretty new to the "military simulation" concept , i try to read a lot on the subject (shack manual , Tg forum , guides , manuals etc) which give me a good base i think. So i hope to see you soon on the server!

3. Played Opflash for years, even got into misson scripting for ww2 mod, bought ARMA the week it came out
