New to Armed Assault on TG? Report in. - Page 16

Hey everyone,
I just ordered Arma and should receive it early next week. I've been a part of TG for a while now but have limited myself to BF2142. I've had a blast but I'm looking for something alittle more realistic. Hope to see you guys soon!

In-game Name: AirTransRanger (Hopefully!)
Any group affiliation? Just good 'ol TG
Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint? No
Are you active in any other games at TG? BF2142, COH
Any interest in mission editing/scripting? No
Any real world Military experience? 6 yrs Active Duty Air Force, deployed under OIF and OEF but never saw combat

Hey Guys,

I am new here and am excited. I like the mature style of play and am looking for action. I was wondering if there were any groups out there that are willing to allow me to join them. I am a dedicated gamer. So if you have any campaigns running I would love to join, the more realism the better

3. Played Operation flashpoint and ARMA singleplayer extensively but no real online experience in either of these games
4. Project Reality for BF2 and hopefully EVE soon
5. Not really interested in map making
6. No military experience
Also Im Australian, hopefully theres some other aussies hiding here

Getting ARMA and its expansion for christmas so i'll be ingame with u guys anytime after then

Are you active in any other games at TG? Did play some Project Reality but server is always full.Have some connection issues with BF2 anyway.
Any interest in mission editing/scripting? Would if I could but I can't so I shan't
Any real world Military experience? : Couple of years in the KOCR reserves in Calgary back in the --well lets just say.. Vietnam War erra...close enough eh??

So,now all I gotta do is:
Configure controls...argh what a job that is!The default set up is WAY too confusing to me.
Figure out how the game works..

Got the game. Patched the game up through 1.9.

Now learning the basic controls (tutorials)...so far, so good!
