been playing BF2, with 3RB clan - liked BF2 but was frustrated by the arcade tactics of the opposition - looking for a more structured 'realistic' game, hoping ArmA will be it! No experience with OFP, cant wait for ArmA to kick off.

I've tried various games since OFP came out but none where as realistic, so I'm very glad AA is out because I've been waiting for it for a loong loong time.

My first experience with AA where a bit disappointing. The sound, the AI and various other issues had me a bit worried but I'm sure this will al be fixed with the help of the community which makes this game (and OFP) great.


In the past I've created various missions for OFP. For AA I'm still playing the SP mode so i haven't gotten around to making any missions.

I'm hoping to find some good games here with you guys from TG, I'm sure I will. I'm also a member of TPF (teamplayfirst). My X-fire name is Ltmcandy, feel free to add me.

Nope.

I come from COD and RO. My COD clan recreated WRM (PRM) perhaps some of you know it. However the arcade like gameplay of COD really got on my nerves. I like RO better and played that quite a bit as well (also waiting for the Resistance&Liberation mod for HL2).

I really like the realism and tactical freedom ArmA provides. Although I must say I get bored pretty quickly when I'm not playing with a team. Guess that's the difference with more arcade kind of games, the game only really comes alive when using teamwork (which is a good thing).

If you're talking about Wolfsbane's Realism Mod, then yes, some of us are intimately familiar with the CoD2 version of it.

Have been playing OFP since the OFP demo first came out (actually got the leaked version of the demo hehe). Played alot of CTI and WGL. Played alot of the mods and coop on a LAN.

Limited experience so far with arma. Have not been enjoying the bugs so far, but of course it gets better with each patch My main problem is lack of quality servers and players, and the fact that in-game voip appears to not be working
I am involved with the Project Reality community and enjoy your PR Server quite a bit, and am hoping for simular experience with arma (only on a much larger scale)

Enjoy playing as an infantry leader and tank commander as well as support roles such as repair truck and ambulance.
