I have spent the last week doing a lot of research on Armed Assault and the reviews, screenshots, After Action Reports, and general discussions about this game in these forums have been a great deal of help to me. My introduction to Tactical Gamer was with Battlefield 2142, which I enjoy playing and has been pivotal in my exposure to the community’s principle of teamwork. Its fast pace can be difficult to maintain for extended periods of time, however, so I purchased this title in the hope it would allow me to explore a more tactical approach to gaming.

I look forward to joining everyone online within the next couple of days.

1. My in-game name is C.Pfeil.
2. I have no experience playing Operation Flashpoint.
3. I am in the process of working through the training portion of Armed Assault.
4. I enjoy playing the role of rifleman, grenadier, or automatic rifleman. Fire Team Leader is a position I would like to learn how to play well in this game.
5. I have yet to explore the Mission Editor, but am interested in this feature.
6. I have purchased and am playing ArmA: Combat Operations version 1.06.

Hey fellaz. I think this is my first post. I've been a long time lurker and lover of your style of play. You may recognize my name from your Project Reality server as I have lead a few squads and played alot of hours of PR on your server. I'm lookin to get into ArmA with some real team gaming.

2. I bought OPF the first day it came out and experienced the growing pains with the game. Played the single player a bunch, never the multiplayer though.

3. I just bought ArmA this week. I had played the German and the British version though.

I spent my first round on the 1.07b Evolution server tonight, squadding up with SGT Moore, Bc2ID and FumanWho. Had a good time and will be back for sure.

SGT Moore showed us around and I learned how to shoot the M136. Thanks for the introduction to the game! We then went on blowing smokestacks and liberating towns.

I played OFP and OFP:Resistance years back, but never on TG.
I come from BF2 (poe2, pr) and look forward to get some nice games going in ArmA.

Played OFP since late leaked beta till about 2006
Only can play ArmA limited due to freezing problems (Arma doesnt like USB keyboards)
My favorite role is support in flashpoint as well in Arma
I make tons of mission scenarios and fully briefed missions with campaigns as I do on my freetime since with freezing problems, I am making a continuing campaign that starts in OFP and ends in Arma

Just introducing my self to the ArmA community.

My in game name is Isnor (Eyes-nor :P) I've never played OFP, but I wish I had in the time. I'm 17 years old and I LOVE tactical gaming. I used to play Medal Of Honor Allied Assault on 'tactical' servers way back when I was younger.

I'm rather excited to find a community devoted to playing tactical, uses teamwork rather then being faster and jumping more.

I recently downloaded the demo for ArmA and fell in love with it, I am currently downloading the full version, and reading everything I can find on the forums.

Positions I will probably want to take will be Infantry - Rifleman/Machine gunner untill I start getting used to the game, I have a lot of reading to do!
