sahrani life

Anyone played the sahrani life mission yet? Its like a complete mod converting it into an RPG and its like GTA style game-play. The two side are cops and civilians and you go around making money both legally and illegally but if a cop catches you doing something against the law he can put you in prison/fine you or maybe kill you. Its really immersing and teamwork will help you progress quicker. The respawn time is 30 secs to start plus another 25 added for each death. So there's plenty or reason to ovoid gun fights. But getting a gun license and buying a gun may come in handy for protection, especially from trigger happy cops.

Re: sahrani life

Sounds like an interesting use of the engine. I know someone posted a Jurassic Park style conversion but this could be a good fun type thing.

Re: sahrani life

I don't know how many hours I put in on this mission today with Gogeta. It's pretty addictive...and fun. Cops and Robbers at it's best.

Re: sahrani life

I've been pretty busy as of late and saw this post...

Is this available on the COOP server?

And, if you kill the hookers, can you get your money back?

So, if you don't eat does that affect your weight and enable you to carry more? lol

Re: sahrani life

=|. seriously, this game isn't grand theft auto.

only 1 of the reasons im not playing this game, here.

and killing a cop to steal his helicopter to deliver Lysergic Acid Diethlyamide seems lame. In real life, and in a game.

I'm thouroughly dissapointed at this point that admin's and players alike are using a military simulation as a PS2 game. go buy GTA if you want that kind of gameplay so badly. bet you its 10 bucks on the bargain shelf used.

Sticky-

Another reason why this, and other unconventional missions, are being hosted is to see the other capabilities of the game engine that we might be able to bring to more conventional sim missions. For example, imagine if we could implement the requirement in a long coop mission the need for players to eat or drink after a long battle objective in order to maintain strength! Ideas like this come from pushing the envelope with missions like Sahrani Life even if they have nothing to do with milsim per se.
