True Gameplay Mods by rg7621
Finaly it's in release, no longer beta version.
Lot's of mods, you can pick them up separatly.

I will check it out once the servers are back on-line. Maybe we can run it this afternoon for a spin. I am reading about a few glitches in there that concern me, but it may be worth a lookie!

Well, I must say, this addon plus the Schmalfelden Extra Heavy Vegatation "island" turns ArmA into a VERY different game.
The AI is actually a dangerous opponent now, even at the 300-500m range. Vehicles WILL engage you up to almost 1km.
I think adding the AI parts of this addon would be a very, very good thing, it will make the AI-based missions much more enjoyable, as they won't be as "easy".

Yea sounds like CoOp missions could be a lot more fun with this enabled, should definitely atleast give it a try at some predetermined time,

I was truly not impressed with this MOD. It did not really make that great of a improvement for the hit people took on FPS. The Six Pack MOD performed much better with AI engagements and did not nearly effect graphics as much. I ran all 17 options and then limited them down, one by one seeing of there was some balance that could be achieved. I will continue to play with this MOD, but it is not running full time until I can get it running smooth and see the great advantages.

Well, there is no point in running all 17 of the mods on the server, unless all the clients are running them too, simply a waste of resources.
The 4 that would be beneficial to run exclusively on the server would be the mods that affect the AI, namely:
- TrueGameplay-AI-Spotting v1.0
- TrueGameplay-AI-Hearing v1.0
- TrueGameplay-AI-Engagment v1.0
- TrueGameplay-AI-Radar v1.0
The others would require both client and server to have them running, and players that are NOT running them could have a significant "advantage" over others that are, ie: lower recoil.

I am not arguing that only the AI ones are needed, the rest are not really needed or worth the trade off. I will try and get the selected ones only on server one tonight so it can be taken for a spin. But like I said before, I thought the other MOD proved better with AI engagements.

Server 2 is running the Six pack MOD. Server 1, the TrueGame Play
