Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
The Zeus mod does wonders, really. Makes the AI really, really deadly. Maybe a bit too much so in forested terrain, but at least they start kicking some more ass and fight back at greater ranges

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
Thanks for considering this option socom, zeus AI mod is really good from what I've experienced.
It will finally make us use cover for the long range firefights, just like we had back in ACE days

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
do not do SLX! some of us tested it out before and it crashes the server! not sure if it's because only a few were using it but my understanding is to stay away from this mod.

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
Just as with ACE it crashes the server only if a few are using it and the server is not. If everyone including the server has it there should be no problems, although my understanding is it might be a bit unstable at its current state. That should be revealed in testing pretty quickly in any case.

Map Plus
Makes the ingame map much more readable and adds ruler, compass and linedraw tools. Even if you don't need the tools I highly recommend this for the extra readability.

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
what do you mean by linedraw tools fin? Are we able to actually drawin on the map? I wish they could have added a feature like that to the game. It's a pain cycling through all the icons.

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
It does, but it is only client-side ATM. Expect an update later this or next month with server side features, if they get it working.

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
That would be awesome if they couldn't make it server side. Would make planning so much better then double click, arrow up or down, etc.
