Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
tried it out real quick last night before going to bed.
first things that come to mind:
-Looked abit shiny... i've done 3D moddeling and skinning etc, but i can't think of the name what causes this when you are messing with the files... in any case, should be fairly easy fix for the author.
-felt a tad to nimble, it's a huge chopper and you'd expect it to handle somewhat like the flying cows
-when on the ground, you retract the wheels, and it'll hover there
So all and all a nice addition for sure, but i'd like the handling to be tweaked abit.
Will probably try it out some more later on

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
Yeah i put it through its courses and came to the same results as you sturgis. But all in all its a nice touch specially with ArmA2 focusing on the Marines. Took forever for something to finally pop up.
Its just another one of those things that adds to the game.
Will look to see this in a future TG Mod pack becuase all the mission makers will want their hands on this.

i think the shine is determined by the specularity setting of the texture

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
Capacity: 37 troops (55 in alternate configuration) is the Wiki article, The limit ingame is 19 in cargo. Also the speed is off as someone said, I managed to get it to 420 km/h without dropping out the sky.

Re: A MOD that has been missing for too long
Heres the lastest work on the MH53 MOD. Looks like the guy has some help now with doing the skins.
I am really impressed.
