Not really. Every missione we have played, they are way too powerfull and overbearing on the mission. One by itself can clear the entire map as long as it has ammo. They can also destroy armor from so far away that it is impossible for the enemy to fight back.

This of course is my slanted opinion and does not matter. Some may groove it. Throw it up there and we can vet it tonight.

I got a good 4 hours in online with coop18-aces.Sara last night and I think you all may really like it. It is a mulitple objective, role specific mission. Each objective is not too diffucult, but the trick is to manage your resources wisely. One thing I really did like on this one, the creator made it for when a player disconnects and thier AI was in a vehicle, they AI will return it back to base.

There is no vehicle respawn, but there is some stuff around the map to pick up instead.

The only drawback to the whole thing was it is in Beta stage and it need a little polishing. The progressive respawn is a bit quirky, but manageble. Overall it still played great and with teamates it can be acheivable.

I have added a new mappack from Xeno of the germany-fun.de website.

Returning Home is the "featured" mission in the pack but they are all worth a spin:

uh... so is there a guide or something? I wanted to get on the co-op server w/ a hand full of guys, but I have no clue what the missions are or how to load them :/ I assume I'm missing a post stickied somewhere, but I can't make rhyme or reason of which posts belong in the general, tactics, and technical forums

Whisky. there are just a few basic commands that go to good use to run the server

1st. vot yourself Admin. bring up the Chat console "/" and type
#vote admin (your name)
#vote admin whiskeysix

2nd. to bring up the missions list once you are the admin type
#missions

3rd. To end a missions you can just abort and it will abort everybody in that mission or to Retry it type

#restart

Recommendation: Highly recommended!

Review:
This is a great mission to play by yourself or with a few buddies... Perfect for just two or three players covering eachothers movements, but with Alpha and Bravo fireteams it would also work well for a full squad. It takes place on the west side of Paraiso, but it feels like another world. The time is late evening, and you and your squad of royal marines is tasked with moving about half a click through urban terrain to take out two 'factories'. The atmosphere is amazing - it's foggy with passing showers and getting dark in a hurry. There's no NVG's so slow methodical movement is key as you try picking targets out of the swampy air. Silenced MP5's are the weapon of choice here, and stealth pays big dividends!

List has been updated as of 10-03-2007. We currently have 112 missions loaded on the Coop server!

We recognize that it is not always easy to tell what a mission is about from simply reading the name and the only way to find out more about a mission is to load it and read the briefing. So, over the next several days we hope to link each mission above to a description or overview for it (minus spoilers) in order for you to be able to learn more about a mission before deciding whether you want to try it.

This is only one of the improvements we are making in order to make choosing missions easier and keeping things fresh. Look for further enhancements soon!
