can an effort be made to upload smaller missions? 40 player missions seem a little over the top for our numbers

Part of this process it to help us identify what we have and then determine what we should keep and what we should cull. We are also always constantly keeping an eye out for new content.

Mission list updated as of 03 Nov 2007 and new format implemented. See original post by Strag above for full details. In addition to this list an "in-game" version will be released soon so you do not have to ALT+Tab or browse offline to learn more about mission choices.

There are a couple of problems with some of the missions.

The first X-Files mission has no UFO anywhere, it's just not there.

co2 Sniper 1 v1.0 [SW] - I've played this myself and the person you are supposed to kill doesn't turn up as he isn't given a waypoint to leave the start point.

co2 Sniper 3: Blood Shot v1.0 [SW] - The pilot doesn't die until you radio in that you have successfully shot him dead, it's not so much a bug, but a mad game mechanic.

I don't think you are acutally supposed to find UFO (explained in the after-story), I believe you are supposed to go where the wreckage is supposed to be and then the mission transitions. Personally, I would love to see a UFO, but a believe a couple of UFO addons are only just being released. I think you are supposed to use your imagine on this one but it is a weakness in the plot for sure.

Again personally, my bigger issue with this mission is the instant respawn (respawn where you die 10 secs later). It really spoils the game play (X-files 2 is the same). I have also had some problems the end objectives. Does anyone have any positive experiences in this mission?

Regarding #1, this problem has been reported in the BIS forums but I do not know if the author is actively looking to correct it. If I can find a way to solve it I may implement otherwise we will have to re-consider the mission.

Regarding #2, Also acknowledged...I putting it in the same categoy as number 1.

With the X-Files mission, has anyone managed to find the wreckage? I know both Protoman and Chopper who have played it several times have not managed to.

Also, I was the first to report the problems with the Sniper missions and even sent a few pms to the author but despite many claims that he will, at some point, perhaps, in the future, sometime, possibly fix them, I've not seen any updates.

The first problem is a simple matter of adding waypoints to the driver of the UAZ that transports the Officer.

The second would involve some amount of scripting so that you can kill the pilot, then radio in that he's dead instead of what you need to do now.

I know you have to physically go to the waypoints they specify ("Land here" or something like that), or else the 'plot' doesn't progress... never found the wreckage though.

As announced by TheBigC here: Server shedule, The mission list for the Server 1 has been updated by removing missions with unlimited respawns or that have no tactical value. As such we now have 93 total missions on Server 1.

All of the remaining missions have respawns set to none, seagull, group, or side (see lgend in first post for definitions). However, there are a few missions that were kept that do have base or instant respawn, but are otherwise tactically oriented. They are:

co08_silent_scream
co15_hiddenairport
Co35 Urban Engagements v1.7 2ND TEST VERSION
SimHQ Training Mission (Coop18)
TG-TvT-16-60_SDAD_0-1-9_by_Taxi
Victory Island Co-Op 14

I am also currently testing several missions that may potentially fit in at TG...and as always, if you have any candidate missions you would like to submit for consideration, please do send us the links!

Added three new no-respawn Coop missions to the server today. Please check them out and let us know what you think:

CO 04 No More Supplies [FAR] v1.1 || CO || 4 || Seagull || Your group of U.S. special forces must destroy a SLA convoy of supplies stationed in a base, far from the front. Once your objective accomplished, go to your extraction point and call for extraction.

(CO20) -{GOL}- The Lost Patrol || CO || 20 || Seagull || 10 || Our Patrol has bust up the truck, now you and your teams are stuck in the middle of nowhere? Lucky your team leader has good map skills and has made up a quick route for you to follow. You must get to pita to find help/transport.

Co-6 Tropical Heat 1.0 || CO || 6 || None || N/A || Iguana is secured by enemy troops. Our intelligence reported Shilka's present. We send two teams to blow up Shilka's. Team Alpha starts near enemy territory. Team Bravo will be send to crossroad. Be aware! We have information about patrols around Iguana! Targets are heavly guarded, especially by Spec Ops groups. After all go to evac point somewhere on coast. We will infom you ASAP where the boats are.

I have removed CO 04 No More Supplies [FAR] v1.1 since it tends to cause screen freezes/crashes.

Remember, if you have any missions you would like us to try, let me know and we will eval them. Strong candidates will include the following features:

-No base or instant respawn
-Spectating Capability
-Good for groups of 4-12 players
