The 16-player version of this has had some changes (current version is on the server). The LZ has moved, and there are now actual chopper insertions.

I'm still having trouble getting the chopper insertions to work exactly the way I want, but right now it's better than nothing. Just FYI -- you have about three seconds to jump off your chopper when it gets low enough, so be ready to EJECT when the time comes! I hope to get this fixed so that each fireteam has about 30 seconds to get off the choppers.

Well slap my ass and call me Sally. The chopper insertions finally seem to be working correctly. The latest version is on Server #1 -- feel free to test it out. If possible, I'd like to get a decent sized group to run through it before Sunday's organized coop session.

Peardog and I just ran through part of this mission. We were able to disable one enemy tank and drop quite a few enemy infantry. It seems to be playing well.

I gotta Say..that playing a REAL mission (Strags Coop Sec Corazol) brought me back to the days of Old OFP... very tension filled...Like it really mattered if you saw an enemy or were killed... We ran it (STRAG) tonight with a squad of AI and I was a bit torqued that my#2 medic got killed first of the bunch... Maybe bad positioning on my part but I think he was surprised since the dead Enemy was found right next to his body..
But the only flaw was the AI gave up the ship near the docks with some bug or another... I think they were torn.. Go Swimming, boating or fight the fight... Other then that..Highly recommended for the Tense REAL coop feel!!

It's on the "OTHER" server..

I can't wait for the next COOP session. While TvT is fun, it turns into a snipe fest or battlefield-esque play everytime so far. A good COOP session however, brings all the elements that make this game/sim unique.

Also depends on the terrain, the last TvT I played there was no place for an infantryman to hide. In such circumstance you stand no chance against Armor, MG's or snipers. So everyone will just choose such a role and teamwork is out of the window. But guess it also depends on leadership.

I agree the terrain facilitates sniping as the best tactic in many cases, but then again when it doesn't there is a tendency to fall into the BF2 style game play. Maybe it does have more to do with leadership, instead of having 1 or 2 well hidden snipers forcing infantry to be suppressed ,the teams end up with all snipers going for kills and not being concerned with the suppression side of the sniping.

For those who were there, thanks for running through this tonight. Based on observations and feedback, I've made further tweaks. The new version is on Server #1 (version j5). I think this mission is getting pretty solid.

It was alot of fun until I died because the tank I blew up was too close, stupid bridge provided no cover.
