Yeah, the combination is the best for now, but I couldn't make it work 100% without getting errors and stuff... Although an easy process, too many errors occur...

ok, i just downloaded CSM, and will all the posts i am defiantly confused as to just how you install it. I got the update as posted, but i am still confused as to the process of installing this mod. I had XAM, but i want to get my FR back. someone help me out?

Where are you running into the problem? If you have the latest download, unzip and put the @CSM folder into your root ArmA folder. Then add the "-mod=@csm" to the command line on your game shortcut.

yeah i added the command line, but when i join i get the error that its deleting the sound file.

I'm defintiely not one to put a lot of faith in specific release dates nevermind less specific, but today on the BIS forums Chammy posted: "Almost........almost" which seems to suggest that we will be seing a new release soon. He has been very good about soliciting and implementing feedback given to him on the BIS forums and there has not been a release for quite some time now, so, I think the next one we get will be a big one. I will keep you all updated as I see updates occur.

Yeah I lost all my faith in release dates and teasers from that guy, I will check his posts probably maybe monthly now, they also have a spreadsheet on google calendar with updates of what % is done as well

LOL, but they have updated that spreadsheet just as often as they have released stuff

Half of the problem is, in general a lot of the ArmA community has driven off a cliff into the Chasm of No Return.

I still don't understand why he's releasing SOUNDS but refuses to fix the volume levels that make it unplayable.

It's like creating the most visually beautiful game and then making it pitch black in every room.

He plans on fixing everything. I do not believe the final release or even a non beta has been released. He released a trial for people to see if they like his sounds. Many people provided feedback, including your observation. His next release should include vehicle sounds and volume adjustments.

His final looks ot be out maybe nov/december, but volume fixes you could use from modwarsound settings, thats what i did for my VegaSounds
