Re: How do you fly?
For heli my pref is keyboard and mouse. Much easier to control for me as I don't have the rudder control in the stick. Now in the future I'll see if I can plug in the stick during simming if I need to fly.

Re: How do you fly?
Hello
Trying to be objective on my flying, here are my notes taken off my pilots thigh note pad last night. Last night I had a couple of goes at Little Bird inserts. My J-stick is a Side-winder force field one. 1. move throttle forward, revs increase and I get lift off. 2. At this point my twist stick rudder works but once I have speed it goes neutral. I believe this is the way ArmA is. 3. Primary longitudinal control [forward & back] on the stick seem ok. 4. Primary lateral control [bank Left & Right] seems sluggish. The problem 4. gives makes it near impossible for me to line up and insert precisely. Anyone any ideas on this as when I use the same J-stick say in Falcon 4 all works 1 to 1 and aircraft positioning is instant. Thinking about it I also seem to over correct when driving road vehicles is this down to the same thing. I notice a lot of road vehicles seem to do the same thing. Tea & sarnies at my bivvy on the next battle stop for an answer to my prob. PS I have tried increasing & decreasing my centre dead spot but it didn't seem to help
