    This is great. I rarely have fears about those at TG cheating, but if we start running open public sessions this would be VERY welcome!

    One downside with this system though. If it isn't used together with checksum validation it is easily circumvented by people hijacking others' .bisign files.

    Wouldn't that fail as the new mod wouldn't have the same files as the original mod, thus making it fail its test?

    Yes, and thus the server has to update before the clients, so that it has the checksum for the newest versions too.
