Is that the "Live map" or a static image scaled to fit the LCD?

Not live (being worked on)! But it is the fully scaleable High Res Map. So, if for example we were attacking a town/village. A street level map of the target could be displayed. Even though it wouldn't show you friendlies (but there again, neither would it in RL).

Re: Touchbuddy & Touchbuddy Toolkit for Games

I spent the yesterday afternoon re-vamping my original ArmA profile and added all the Commands in via a Touch Button.

Touching the buttons at the top of the Squad/Armoured screen takes you straight to that particular command set. For example, selecting Combat takes you straight to the Combat commands. Stealth, Danger, Aware etc. Which in turn has a “get you back” button.

I have given the user 10 seconds, after selecting his Squad Member(s)/Armoured Unit(s), to then go to the particular Command Set, and select the action. In my trials, I have found this to be plenty of time.

I also added to the “Main” screens, what I think would be used frequently. Roger, In Position, Under Fire and in my case “I am injured”! This kind of thing is very subjective though, but the beauty of the Toolkit is that it allow the user to swap out and easily change things (via the Toolkit) to how he wants it.

Thumbnails of some of the re-vamped Squad/Armour/Comms + MP/Status Screen/Engagement Screen/and finally that fantastic HighRes Map.

Those look absolutely fantastic. I really need to build one of these. I can really see how one of these things would be useful. Damn you Buccaneer I'm broke!

Thanks guys - I now feel the urge to go out and buy a "Big Issue"

(For Wimp, who might not know what the Big Issue is, its a magazine that the Skint (broke) Tramps sell in the UK).

God damn it. I might have to buy two now ........
