Is there a mod or a setting to change the way HDR is implemented? Because it's pretty, and adds to the atmosphere, but any time I zoom in (even zooming in in third person) the game gets WAY darker. And after the 20th time, it gets really annoying.

I'd really like to keep HDR on - is there any way to change this without turning it off completely?

Do you have your game patched up? They fixed this at some point...

Yep, and the game still gets a lot dimmer when I zoom in.

Hmmm, the 1.06 beta patch fixes this pretty good. The only other option that worked for me was to change the HDR precision from 8 bit to 16 bit. You will need a decent vid card for that one. In the My Documents, ARMA, there's a config file that you open in word pad. Look for HDR and try changing the value. Best bet is to use the 1.06 beta patch.
