Might be bound to the High Command module, since I can't see any other way the game could recgonize who is actually in command of a whole side.

We played Inq's russian mission and the command channel worked perfectly. Not sure how he got COMMAND channel to work but maybe you should all talk to him.

Re: VON Channels and their purpose

You'd think that if every "leadership" position available in a mission was designated by the mission maker as some sort of group leader, then they'd all have access to the Command channel in game and we wouldn't need TS.

Still, Teamspeak is a quick, effective fix and it's alot easier than before to organize, since you only need to move a few people to one channel for leadership communications.

As far as I know they do. However there's both Command channel, and Commander channel. Two different ones. It's the latter we don't have a clue about.

Oh, and unless one is a squad leader one can't be designated any "leadership" position. So for example Staff Sergeants would need a squad of their own to communicate on the Command channel.

Re: VON Channels and their purpose

Since VON is full working we dont need to be on TS all time?

Some guys from my Clan dont speak english so well and some times get lost on all conversasion. For this reason they dont like to join english speaking TS.

Some times we play togheter and we stay on our TS to just be able to talk our native language (Portuguese). We have been playing like this o TG server's since ArmA1 and worked well.

But will make sure to visit TG ts some times.

Daniel + Lowspeed and they crazy history's/Chats are very funny.Every time i play with then togheter i cant stop laughting .

TS is generally obligatory, with or without VON.

Meh, while we'd really really really like you guys to get on TS when you're playing, we can't really make it mandatory now that in-game VON works.

If the language barrier is a problem, that's totally understandable, but other than that you really have nothing to lose by joining up on TS and alot to gain from the community experience.

Re: VON Channels and their purpose

If your going to be on TS, please be in the correct channel. PUBLIC CHANNEL IS NOT TO BE OCCUPIED BY THOSE INGAME. IF YOUR ON ALPHA PLEASE BE IN THE ALPHA CHANNEL AND THE SAME WITH BRAVO. GETS VERY IRRITATING TO SEE PEOPLE BREAK THEMSELVES OFF FROM EVERYONE ELSE JUST TO BE IN A DIFFERENT CHANNEL. YES CAPS IS ON AND ITS FOR A REASON.

TG ArmA is not going to support people building little comfort groups. Here, you play as a team, you act like a team and you include EVERYONE. Not going to see little groups play favorites.
