I listen to everything. I mean everything. EVERYthing. From Willie Nelson to Nelly. From Burning Spear to Britney Spears (when she's on the radio, but I'm a JT fan at heart). I wish Metallica would stop slowing down, it's almost like Lars lost his will to properly double-drum after Justice For All. System of a Down never should have split, but Serj's solo band still rocks on. I had a huge Medeski Martin and Wood phase, and I'm still a huge acid-jazz fan. Ever heard of Charlie Hunter? He plays an instrument that is half-guitar and half-bass, and he plays both parts simultaneously. Someone exposed me to Muse recently, and they reminded me of a heavier Radiohead. Thievery Corporation owns a bar here in DC... very nice chill music. They steal so many riffs, they have an entire department dedicated to purchasing music rights for the samples they use. Gotta mention The Triumverate (Jimi, Led Zep, Beatles). Jimi Hendrix-- Band of Gypsies Machine Gun, one of my favorites. Mozart's Requiem is moving. Vivaldi is fun. Miles Davis, Kinda Blue a must have. Weird Al to your face. Jethro Tull Aqualung and This Was. Arctic Monkeys. Norah Jones. Amy Winehouse, even if she's a drunk. Soundgarden and Audioslave and Circle and Tool and Rage Against the Machine and Pearl Jam (any other collabs I missed there?) Beck.
Oh man, I haven't even started rap yet... Biggie, 2Pac, Mos Def, Rahzel, Danger Mouse, MF Doom, All of Wu Tang, Mystikal, Cypress Hill, Eminem...
That's all I've got at the moment.

I'm listening to Emilie Autumn. She's an interesting character. On one album you get electronica, metal, gaslamp, and classical violin.
