Re: TG Mod Pack Update
Ok so i made a mirror for tactical gamer. (as stated the performance will also not be that great but hey it's a mirror ;-))
-Download AddonSync2009 on the devheaven website. (i'm sorry but i'm not allowed to post links yet)
-Extract the 7z file, launch addonsync2009.exe inside
(VISTA and WIN7 users should launch it with administrative priviliges else the tool will not be able to write addons in your Arma 2 folder)
-After launching the tool, set the correct arma 2 path settings (click settings), if you don't have arma1 just untick Arma1 is installed on this pc.
-Restart the tool.
-Click on "Default servers"
-Select the "Yoma's Tactical Gamer Sync Mirror 2009-11-17" server.
-Click "Add to favorites"
-Go back to the favorites list.
-Doubleclick on the server
-Click "Check for addons"
-Wait a second (it needs to calculate md5sums if you allready have the folder)
-Click download addons, wait for stuff to download (all should get green)
The new tool also has a built in "press F1 for context sensitive help" function that might come in handy.
*NOTE* there is an issue with the my webserver, for some reason it won't correctly send the file.
MAP_EU.pbo.MAP.bisign.7z
I'll take that up with the hosters.
(For some reason my webserver cannot correctly send any files that have .MAP. in the filename i think it's some kind of menu url rewriter...)
Users should not notice it anymore as i've just put the file on another webserver :-)

Re: TG Mod Pack Update
The biggest issue will be to set up enough mirrors and keep them in sync.
Or to find one hell of a server that can pull many connections.

Re: TG Mod Pack Update
Some of the files that were part of the original TG-modpack are missing from the server. Is this intentional?
edit: Actually it seems like all .pbos belonging to the original pack are missing but the .bisigns are there

Re: TG Mod Pack Update
Yes I know they aren't missing at my end because I already got them with the original modpack. However If I remove any of them from the folder the tool won't recognise it and won't download the file for me. The file will just disappear from the list. Moreover if I select "delete extra files" it'll delete all those marked in orange. It considers them extra files not part of the repository.

Re: TG Mod Pack Update
Yeah no such problems with TG's mirror, all works out. Even the Littlebirds are now there. Cheers!
