Re: What we are missing.
Well its not for cas but this can fit into some missions, Imagine a mission where you are a 10-20 man squad and there is armor, like 100+ inf in a town, B-52 comes in levels it then INF mops up, its realistic and lets be real even with the birds we have now smething always survives. It could also be scripted to end a mission

Re: What we are missing.
Socom, a tunguska would make quick work of a B-52. We have some good mission makers, maybe we get there opinion before ruling it out?

Re: What we are missing.
For the purposes of keeping the modpack down to a reasonable size, I do not see why one could not simply use the c-130 as a placeholder for the b-52 and use the appropriate carpet bombing scripts. If the usage of the b-52 is going to be restricted to a few novel uses, I fail to justify in my mind why a map designer would limit the compatibility (ie those who do not have the addon downloaded) of their map.

Re: What we are missing.
Just to revist my previous point, are there any scripts that enhance the enemy AI at all?

Re: What we are missing.
Oh PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE Mr Browna can we have enemy engagement beyond 500mtr?
*puppy*
- Improves AI's ability to spot and engage enemy, extending engagement ranges out to 500m and beyond
- Changes the speed at which an AI can get a bead on a target
- The AI now reacts to effective enemy fire, before taking casualties
- Accuracy is changed to ensure sustained firefights take place, allowing movement under contact with good use of cover. Ammunition dispersion and weapon accuracy are not changed
- AI hearing ability is reduced to realistic levels, enabling a player to make stealthy close quarter approaches providing he can remain unseen
- Vehicle gunners now react to enemy fire
- Building on the native game feature, AI characters have varying ability to spot enemy according to role. This is to represent equipment and training variation
- Sniper teams that make effective use of tactics, cover & concealment can now carry out their mission, especially at extended engagement ranges
- Careful movement and correct use of formation is now an important factor in improving a soldiers survivability, as are planned ingress and egress routes
- AI react more aggressively under contact and don't give up as easily
- Injuries occur more frequently in firefights. Good drills and wise medics are now an essential part of the game

Re: What we are missing.
Me and some friends have been starting to use Zeus in our small coops. I bet we still can config them a bit better for our preference with their skill and precision, but this far it's lovely.
AI isn't overly good or anything, just... better. They don't have any magic sight or magic precision, but the amount of suppressing fire is lovely. We have ended up in small firefights where we've used 2+ mags each in our assault rifles, and still only managed to hit 4 AI at ranges of 200m since we had to keep our heads down so much.
Fun thing is that it can be sneaked onto the server without the rest of us knowing, since the clients don't need to have the addon :P

Re: What we are missing.
We don't need Nuke addon, there is same thing done in the script. So, we can use it in the mission, just for visual effects.

BTW, I'm working on map (island), that is based on Mogadishu and surrounding towns in Africa. So, we finally will get desert island.
