ahh the fokker has some issues, namely it takes more than the runway distance on utes to take of... the Pfalz d XII is fine though and is almost exactly the same as the camel although it does carry 3 times as much ammo in game (im sure that can be edited though)

We can use script to attach invisible afterburner just for taking off? .

Don't you think that would ruin the feel though?

Well, if it can be usable just for taking off, then I don't think it would ruin feeling.

I already have this addon, but I don't see how a mission in a TG style could be made with this plane..

    Re: Bi-Plane Top Gun

Its not a TG mission per say. Its just something we are messing around with to have fun. We are going to make another Top Gun Vid with bi planes. Although we might have to slow down the music to make it fit better....cause these planes is SLOOOOOW! lol

ahh after some more testing with the fokker on utes, you can get off... but you have to keep going up the hill past the runway and float off the side over the town then over the water. its pretty dangerous and hard to pull off so suggest you dont include that bad boy until it gets fixed =p

    Re: Bi-Plane Top Gun

haha well, the only other way ive found is... full pitch forward then then yawing side to side to try get the tail wheel off the ground... once the tail wheel is airborne you can gain speed to take off but this process usually involves crashing.

and no, not even the huge runway on chernorusisus is long enough. the main problem is that it only speeds up to 39 on the runway.... and doesnt get its ass airborne while all the other tail draggers (camel pfalz) get they're tails off the ground at about 40-45. im starting to question weather the bloke that made this infernal aircraft tested it =p

Well that little Focker is quite a beast

It does take off within very short distance with the maneuvering stozz already tried: Accelerate to about 35 km/h and start weaving it from side to side with pedals so that you're on one wheel most of the time. Just be careful with wingtips. It'll soon pickup the required speed to takeoff. The other way, again on Utes, is to takeoff towards west. At that end the runway drops straight into the sea and you can just fly it off when the drop comes.
