Re: ARMA2 Basic Infantry Training [3 Dec 09, 2100 est]]
Thank you for the informative and educational basic-infantry session. It gave me an opportunity to develop some of the concepts I had already encountered and introduced some new ideas to me (like reverse bounding overwatch). I learned overwatch from an ex-SAS Falklands vet in a grade 10 history class paintballing trip (Yeah, radical) and I learned my concept of section-level tactics from an army reservist lineman friend of mine. This brought the things I've learned so far together into one easy to follow lesson.
Sorry for being tardy, traffic was abysmal on my way back from the grocery store.
I'll wear the qualification tags proudly and look forward to your advanced classes (especially the ones dealing with squad and platoon leadership).

Yeah. Reverse bounding overwatch was nice. I've tried it in practice before in games, but never with that good coordination (despite the fire team losing coherency)

Had a great time yesterday, despite reading about some of the things taught in the tactical manual it's always nice to have hands-on experience to see how the guys at TG handle things. Look forward to perhaps attending the advanced infantry course in the future =)
funny thing, my friend wants me to teach him what I learned yesterday in private (he just got the game recently). I don't think you guys would mind too much would you?

Wow I completely blew this off by accident. Didn't quite get the date, and somehow put it to be on the 9th, and not the third.
