Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
Guess I'll wait with playing until Monday then. I had updated before the announcement of not updating the servers was made.

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
Yep me too. The Ace team are releasing updates like it is going out of fashion.
Any chance of 2 server updates a week? (like monday/friday)
I know its a pain for the admins but some of the bug fixes are very valuable plus a friday update would still allow time to prepare people for a sunday event.
Heres a link to the update news for anyone that wants to see the changes

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
Oh, I know I can download it again. Question is if I can be bothered with renaming folders and stuff just to download another version that I don't want to overwrite my current ACE (Yes, I'm so odd I want to have one version that's up to date with newest patches and thus can't have the TG version of ACE be in any folder with standard names (@ACE and @ACEX) since it'll mess up SIX updater.
A lot of hassle to get going. While at Monday I can just use whatever version TG decides upon then, copy the PBO files to a TG folder, just being half the hassle of downloading it now
My big suggestion to the Admins are to NOT use the @ACE and @ACEX names on the folder(s) they use in the TG Yoma repository, simply because it completely screws up having one up-to-date ACE and having ACE for TG.

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
I guess I need to look more into Yoma. This far I haven't seen how to make it download to custom directories. The HDD space isn't the issue here, but the complexity of keeping 2x ACE.

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
HA sorry Inko I deleted my post, I just noticed Jeepo's post about using the Yoma Auto-config URL (yay!) so I didn't think my post made sense anymore... so your post is kind of hanging out alone.
But what I posted was: you can keep two copies of ACE, one for TG and the other managed by the SIX updater and use the Yoma modsets to select which ACE pack to use for launch. Super easy method.

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
Yes, yes, yes. That is NOT the issue I have. I have no problems using two different shortcuts. The problem I have is that downloading with Yoma will overwrite my currently existing ACE folders, unless I manage to find out how to get Yoma to download to some other directory than the ArmA2 one. For example download straight into ArmA 2\@TG\. Need to look more into that once I get the chance.

Re: ACE2 TG Server Information & SM Download
Ink, i have two versions too. ATM i have to manually rename the folders every time i want to start one version, so YOMA and SIX updaters dont mess up with the other version.
I know it sounds stupid to have to rename the folders every time, but remeber that this is only temporary, as ACE is still beta...
