You can download into custom Yoma folders:

There's a "Download to" field right above the list of files to download. Just point it to for example "Arma2\TG", and you'll get "Arma2\TG\@ace", "Arma2\TG\@acex", etc, and your TG-specific ACE-version will reside there. You can then keep the updated ace-folders as "Arma2\@ace" and so on, and everything works fine. No need to manually rename anything.

Hah. Wow. I hadn't event noticed that field. So intellible and discrete it's almost invisible.

I have problems to run the new Ace TG version.I downloaded the new one with "Arma Addon Sync 2009".And I did everything like the old version.

The files ace,acex and CBA are in the arma2 folder.userconfig file once in the "Dta" folder and once in the normal arma2 folder.
Shortcut line: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -nosplash -mod=BWMod -mod=@ace;@acex;@CBA
And ingame it says I still have version 0.1.182
Please help.

But thats the version being distributed by the yoma addon sync and the version installed on TG servers, isnt it? if u want an updated ACE2 version, u should use the SIX updater, but remeber that u wont be able to join TG servers till they are updated to the most current version.

The SIX updater cant start updating.Im getting a error message or something´and tells me to exit.Crap!I hope the final release comes soon with a REALLY install program like ace in arma1,so I can play with you guys again on the servers :=).

Any other ideas of my problem? Thx.

ok my bad, i thought TG was still using ver 182... server are updated to 185 now...

Wait TG is using 185? On Wed night I downloaded 184, but had to scale back to 182 because the update was not until this coming monday. Now they are at 185?

We need a better system.

Got a question regarding your server...

In the modline on swec stats I only see:

CA;@ace;@acex;@Zeus

Is @CBA part of @Zeus ?

It is inside the ACE file. Slip of the hand. Still works, will be rectified in the next edition.

NOTE: After I moved the TG ACE Modpack into the desired folder (I named it "@TGACEMODPACK" very creatively) and changed the "Download to" field under the Server -> AddOn Server tab, I had to goto Settings -> Clear Cache Database. Then when I did a "Check Addons" it compared the local files (took 45 seconds or so) and came up all green ie-- sync'ed (since I copied a sync'ed ACE pack, that made perfect sense).

Finc, man you just saved me so much folder copying I could kiss you.

Yep, worked like a charm for me too! Suddenly I just have a 71kB update from copypasting the @CBA, @ACE and @ACEX folders into a new @TG one. Simply removed all the .rsync folders and just kept the addons ones, syncing against those. Then in the shortcut I used -mod=beta;@TG\@CBA;@TG\@ACE;@TG\@ACEX

works like a charm, and saved and will save A LOT of headache

Your irreverence for the order of things TG is disheartening. I don't know who you are or what you are about but I'd rather see you walk a mile in the shoes of a TG admin team before you fly around criticizing current administration.
