Tracer Rounds in Operation Arrowhead

Where are they ? they don't seem to exist in any of the ammo boxes, they were in arma 2... why not OA ?

They were not in Arma 2. They were in ACE 2 which you were probably running at the time.

Some weapons have tracers but they are not global - other players cannot see them. It's retarded. Hopefully ACE will come to the rescue.

ACE did it in ARMA, but for some reason it was completely absent in ACE2

That really disappointed me because I liked the ACE tracers.

No there in ace2 allright. Just load ureself up with a 249 with tracer box mag......initiate pink floyd style laser show

I'm talking about for regular rifles, mounted weapons, that sort of thing. not a designated tracer magazine.

Hmm, the .50's and russian equivalent all have tracers. Im pretty sure the standard ace stanags for the m16 fire a tracer every 3/4 rounds aswel. The tracer mags make every round an eye candy festival. Great for spotting targets for mounted weapons..... "FOLLOW MY TRACERS!!!"

With ACE working on CA I havent really seen any tracers. I only played for an hour but no tracers to be seen even from a few bursts of the mini gun on the Black Hawk. Are they visible in daylight?

Fired off several mags of m240 last night, saw tracers every 3rd/4th round, didn't see them very often when aiming down the scope though. Just the suppressing "hip" fired shots
