For those that played Tora Bora with me yesterday, I would like a chance to redeem myself
For those that didn't this is basically what happened.
First Go Through: Ended up killing the informant by mass fires at the first objective.
Second Go Through: Landed at 2nd objective and moved into place using uber stealth and comms and was all around a great round. Called in CAS, turned on the Laser......BOOOOOOOM.....HVT dead, mission failed.
So, I would like a chance to redeem myself as CO of that mission. Who's in?
I was there for both attempts.
The second was better.
Dredge "Laze is up on target" i relay to harrier "Laze up, weapons cleared hot, begin run"
Alpha squad lead "We dont know which building the HVT is in!!!"
Harrier "Weapon released"
Dredge "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-"
Mission ends.
I roflcoptor'd in my roflcopter aka comms relay station.
"Didn't the brief say we needed to detain some guy?"
"Nah, LASERS PEWPEW!"
Nice drops though.
Thats why we read EVERY PART OF THE BRIEF! I got a little carried away as this was my first time back in the CO spot in a while. lol, it was pretty funny though. Right as I see the bomb about to hit someone said, "Hey, we dont know where he is". It was classic.
Mission went really well besides the LongBow comm crap out and Zedics suicide :P
The addition of AAA sites made it alot harder. Still managed to limp back to base after being lit up by one. Well have to court marshal DeathStrikes AI guy killing the HVT at the end.
Still a win though....or was it?
Ok. Last night was great only had a few hiccups. Comms with the Harrier where touch and go but better than last time. We managed to extract the HVT but due to someone disconnecting, he was replaced by AI who then shot the HVT leading to a failed missions.
SO
Third times a charm? This time, everything is going to be covered and planned to the smallest detail. This is going to be uber realistic, and slow and methodical. So again, whos with me?
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
