OPERATION DEEP DAGGER PART 2

Briefing:

Good work gentlemen. We have established an excellent FOB that we will be basing the rest of our operations on.

They know we are coming now. And they are preparing for a fight. All units are on alert in the southern section. All villages have posted security and will try to ambush you. So watch your six.

Phase two will go after a radar tracking station belonging to the Takistan Army at Mountain AqTappa (Grid Ref 104 075). They have it posted high so they can track our air movements. Intel suggests that it is being fed into nearby anti-air batteries for area denial. We can't bring in air assets until the personnel manning the station are taken out. One of your primary objectives is to elimate all hostiles around the radar station. If possible, destroy the radar unit.

Also, Garmsar is one of their forward most staging areas. We are going to move in to take over their staging area and force area denial for the enemy. We will sweep the town, and clear out all hostiles.

There is still plenty of anti-air assets in the region. Traveling too far south is not advised currently. Keep to the north-east areas and anti-air coverage should be minimal. We advise not using any air power until the personnel manning the radar unit are taken care of.

As secondary objectives, there is a vehicle pool consisting of heavy parked somewhere near Garmsar. If you can destroy all the armour, it will lighten our load down the road. In addition, somewhere in Garmsar may be a map with intel on hostile positions. If you can find this, we will have a better understanding of enemy forces for the next phase.

We are still transporting heavier assets in. The assets provided are the best we can give you currently. Shut down their radar capabilities and we can get heavy air assets in the area to help our in further phases.

Weather and fog are getting worse by the hour. By later phases of this attack, weather will be poor at best. Good luck.

Everyone, my appoligies for being tardy. Life has gotten crazy busy but I'm going to be able to snag that CO position after all. It will be a lot of work but I expect to have more information up later tonight & expand on it tomorrow. Stay tuned...

Will go over the current known intel & brief while at the map. Shouldn't take too long & intend to fraps it for those who can't make it. Otherwise will document it. Still awaiting some intel reports before a plan can be finalized.
