Found TG via the multiplayer search browser during ArmA1 days.

Joined the server during its missions, never looked back.

Looking for people who were playing Swat4 strategically by doing a google search. I eventually was referred here. Couldnt run ArmA on my machine but i knew once i could i'd be playing here.

I found you lot back in 2006 or so. I joined the Black Widow Clan and one of their players turned me on to this mod for BF2 called Project Reality I think I was on TG's server when I first realized how amazing the gameplay could be. After that I found Arma while bored in a hospital room recuperating from an injury.

In 2008, I found tg's cod 4 server with total realism mod in the game's server browser. I think it was the first sever I tried (being in dallas with super low ping) after turning off the ranked server filter. It was a crazy experience.

They had all the overlay icons turned off and I didn't know who was what or what was where, and Bronco was giving me an earful for clumsily stepping off a low ledge and making a kerplunk sound in the water, potentially giving our position away.

I spent a minute rummaging around for an old headset so I could say sorry, and never looked back

I found TG thru an old friend named Bamboo. I was looking for a place to play Arma and when I saw his name in the TS channel I dropped in and said hello. That was a few years ago.

@Balfa - Bronco wouldnt do that...never...and he certainly doesn't do it these days..../sarcasm

I found TG through a PC gamer article. To be honest (spilling some beans here) I skipped over the article many many times. Everytime saying "Look at these guys 'playing Army' they are all silly" finally, one day after having read the entire magazine like 10 times over and being bored and needing to kill time I read the article. About 2 hours after reading I was a supporting member, on TS, and setting up the TG Mod Pack to play on Bravo. Been here ever since.

When BF2Combat (now defunct) and TG went to war in BF2 many years ago and the whole event was shoutcast on EGLN (now also defunct). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l12SxoawVZE The others may be gone but TG lives on!

@Athanasa - I think you'll need to redo the poll/thread, I can't edit it either.

@Sarge - Are you referring to |TG-X|Bamboo ? Although I'm not a regular ArmA player, Bamboo gave me my 1st look at ArmA and that's what got me started back in the day.
