Saw this on armaholic.... I think it would be a blast to try out on Alpha for something new. Maybe you guys have seen or tried before?

Multi Session Operations is a modular mission framework. Essentially it is a collection of scripts that create a persistent, living scenario in which the player operates. Unlike regular missions that have pre-scripted objectives, MSO procedurally generates enemy forces that are unpredictable and (semi) random. Players have to think beyond the mere tactical level and build up the intelligence picture, carrying out recce patrols to identify enemy locations and conduct deliberate attacks to neutralise them. Everything is persistent, including equipment, ammo, vehicles and even player lives. MSO is designed specifically for Dedicated Server use.
Re: Multi Session Operations - worth a try on Alpha?
We've played this several times in the past. In fact the Patrol Ops that is played often on Bravo is built on it. The last time we had one loaded on Alpha it had a lot of reliance on ACE functions so it was a little problematic. So, it would take someone taking up the charge and doing some editing to get a mission tested for use on Alpha.

Thanks for the reply. What peaked my interest in the armaholic mso post was the claim it only required cba. I am running it now local with the alpha modset and it seems ok. I am going to keep messing around. So far it is pretty cool, seems like a vanilla patrolops!
Re: Multi Session Operations - worth a try on Alpha?
I've been play testing this weekend and it is pretty nice. I've been running CBA only w/ ST HUD etc (typical alpha modest). As you would expect gameplay seems more complex than the bread-butter "Domination" but perhaps it pushes towards more teamplay. I could see this complexity being somewhat of a deterrent to some new players. Maybe BL1P can comment on technical compatibility with Alpha? Just curious... I love patrol Ops and would love to see something like it to add to the occasional variety on alpha for when there are more experienced players online looking for a new challenge!
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
